WorthyWines of the World
A Taste of the Unusual
Here’s a very interesting blend that you don’t see every day - WiseGuy has never seen one! Lange Twins is a new winery started by twin brothers of a five generation wine growing family in the Lodi area. This wine is 66% Petit Verdot and 34% Petite Sirah. It’s very Rhone-ish in style, with a nice blackfruit nose with an orange zest note. The palate is deep and dark, with mocha, blackberry, blueberry pie, bitters, and cedar tones. This is a huge, brooding wine that improves with air, adding earthy notes as well. A great value!
13.9% alcohol. 200 cases produced. SRP 20.00.
